MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his global impact. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. In Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021, he also performed the duet for TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his younger brother and his mother are each musicians. According to Turizo, music was an integral aspect of his daily life. When he was young, he instructed to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his the direction of his career.
