Rosalia

Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other music genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer is her second album that was that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. After Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she got a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released on the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing solo in the program. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home an award for the Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
